Well, here it is! I've always thought blogging was for specific types of people--those who can bake (Julie & Julia), those who can write (all those Austin's and Dickens' out there), those with grand ideas (Steve Jobs), etc. However--I've decided that since I'm about 800 long miles away from "home" that it's about time I start sharing the crazy things that happen to me here in Provo. I hope it tickles your fancy :)
I've officially moved into my 4th apartment since I moved to Provo. If time flies like an arrow, then fruit definitely flies like a banana (props to Groucho Marx on that one). I guess this is what they call "life experience," right?!
Random things I feel like sharing:
- There are three degrees of separation in the world (I used to think that only applied in the LDS sphere, but I rescind that thought process).
- It's best to stop a moment and think before answering. If in doubt--fake it till you make it. Make firm decisions and go with it. 100%
- You always want what you can't have. Tomassito's. Indubitably.
- The gospel can be shared in so many different ways. At many different times. Hmmm Mosiah 18:9? I think so.
- I'm convinced I'll never feel my actual age. And I'm okay with that. I wonder what I'll be like when I'm 60....which is kind of how I feel inside currently.
- With so many spheres of influence, I wonder how it's possible to know who I really am. But that's probably all part of the process. We're influenced by so many people and things every single day--it builds us to who we are.
With things still in boxes, and about 63 hours of work this week, it's pretty fair to say that I'm staying busy...
Until next time!
